James R. “Jim” Drylie 89 of Steubenville, OH died Monday, August 5, 2002 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale, OH. He was born in Greensburg, PA on July 6, 1913 the son of the late David and Agnes Dunsmore Drylie. Preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Drylie and foster parents, John and Jemima Dunsmore Hillen and a foster brother, John W. Hillen. He retired form the Weirton Steel Co. in 1976 as a stress tester in quality control-metallurgical department. Member of Zion United Church of Christ, Steubenville. Masonic Pilgrim Lodge #691 and Scottish Rite. Sunset Club; AARP; 25 year club of WSX. He is survived by his wife Helen M. Hughes Drylie of Hopedale, OH a son, James D. (Sandra) Drylie of Richmond, OH a daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Carolyn) McCamic of Wintersville, OH a sister, Marion Rudich of Portland, OR and a foster sister, Laura Miller of Connellsville, PA three grandchildren, Darlene (Karl) Harrison, David Drylie and Brian McCamic and two great grandchildren, Karlene and Mitchell Harrison. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, OH on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. Rev. Thomas Bullard to officiate. Burial at Union Cemetery, Steubenville. Masonic Lodge #691 services 8 p.m. Wednesday
