James R. “Jim” Behringer 51 of Wintersville, OH died peacefully at his residence, Monday, February 10. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 16, 1951. Preceded in death by his father James Behringer and maternal and paternal grandparents and a infant daughter. James worked for McKean Security, Follansbee, WV as a weigh master for Koppers Co. Survivors include his mother Aileen Hennessy Behringer of Wintersville and an aunt, Rosemary Mull of Brilliant, OH and several cousins. He is also survived by close family friends Mark and Debbie Hoppel and their twin daughters Sabina and Zemfira of Wintersville and long term companion and loving friend Penny Hutchings of Steubenville. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. Msgr. Gerald Calovini and Rev. David Sperry to officiate. Private burial at a later date.
