James P. “Jim” Kunzler 62 of Bloomingdale, OH died Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at his home of natural causes. He was born in Steubenville on October 5, 1941 a son of the late Harold and Ann Yeager Kunzler. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Wintersville, American Legion Post #557 and Weirton Steel 25 Year Club. Jim was retired from Weirton Steel, where he was a foreman in the Strip Steel Department, and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He is survived by his wife Karen M. Zdinak Kunzler, son Michael (Dina) Kunzler, daughter Jennifer Kunzler, both of Lancaster, OH, daughters Renee and Nicole Kunzler, both of Bloomingdale, brother John (Wendy) Kunzler of Aurora, CO, sister Mary Kunzler of Steubenville, grandchildren Nathan and Lauren Kunzler and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be on Tuesday, April 13, 2004, 9:30a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Wintersville with Msgr. Gerald Calovini officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville. Vigil services 8:45p.m. on Monday.
