James ‘Jim’ Rosta of Steubenville, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025 at Trinity West. James was the son of the late Joseph and Violet (Casic) Rosta of Steubenville, Ohio. James is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years Loretta (Isidore) Rosta of Steubenville, Ohio and his son Joseph (Karlee) Rosta of Steubenville, Ohio. James was a graduate of Wintersville High School in 1975. He was a employee at Weirton Steel Corp for over thirty years. He loved being around family and friends, golfing with his buddies, and listening to music. James fought a courageous battle from cancer which showed all of his family and friends what a true warrior he was. James will have a viewing and service held at Dunlope Shorac Funeral Home 215 Fernwood Rd. Wintersville, Ohio, on Tuesday October 21, 2025 between 12pm to 2pm. The Rosta family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Rahman and his amazing staff at Tony Teramana Cancer Center.
