James H. Cook, 82, of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, October 10, 2019 at home. He was born February 8, 1937 in Lancaster, Ohio the son of the late Henry & Freda Eads Cook. He began his banking career at M&M Bank, starting as a teller and retiring as a Vice-President/Treasurer. Jim served his country in the USMC and was a member of American Legion Argonne Post 33. Preceding Jim in death was his wife Joan Ann Evans Cook on April 5, 2013.
Surviving are his children, Gregory Cook, Cheryl (Andy) Bryan, Karen Mort & Mary Brown; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters Barbara Mottice & Ann Mazarak.
Per his request, services are private.
