James F. “Jim” Roberts, 85, of Wintersville, Ohio died Sunday, April 30, 2006 at Trinity West. He was born September 5, 1920 in Unionport, OH a son of the late John H. and Minnie Mae McClain Roberts. Jim was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. tractor repair department and a member of Wintersville Baptist Temple. Preceding Jim in death were two brothers Donald & Jack Roberts and sister Bess Rushing. Surviving are his wife Matilda I. “Tillie” Drayer Roberts; son Jimmy (Donna) Roberts of Richmond, OH; grandson Shane Hanlin of Richmond; and brother Dick (Janet) Roberts of Wintersville. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Dr. Rev. John Beard and Rev. Ralph Wingate co-officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Memorials may be directed to Baptist Temple.
