James F. “Jim” Montgomery 74 of Steubenville died Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at his residence of natural causes. He was born in Steubenville on October 15, 1930 a son of the late Benton and Ethel Fisher Montgomery. He was a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church, Wintersville and Methodist Mens. Jim was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, where he was a millwright in the 80” mill. He is survived by his wife Frances M. Baron Montgomery; daughters Carolee Montgomery of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Sharon (Joseph) Cinkole of Kirtland, Ohio and Jaimee Osborn of Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania; granddaughter Brandi Nicole Cinkole; brothers Tom (Joann) of Weirton, West Virginia, Bob (Mary Ann) of Mingo Junction and Bill (Karen) of Steubenville; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday 2-4 and from 6 p.m. until time of services at 8 p.m. at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville with Rev. David Sperry and Rev. Glenn Perdue officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice or Western PA Chapter of ALS, Landmark Building, Suite 550, 100 West Station Square Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15219-1122.
