James F. McGlone, 72, of Richmond, Ohio died Friday, August 5, 2005 at his residence. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on May 7, 1933 the son of the late Clement F. and Cecilia Carney McGlone. James was retired from Weirton Steel Co. and a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church. James was an Army veteran of Korea. He was preceded in death by one sister Marilyn Helmsworth. James is survived by his wife Mary Ann Vargecko McGlone; three sons J. Michael (Robin) McGlone of East Springfield, Mark J. (Joan) McGlone of Richmond and John J. (Linda) McGlone of Wintersville; one daughter Linda A. (Gene) Nichols of Wintersville; seven grandchildren and one sister Patricia Fleder of Hatfield, PA. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. On Monday, friends may call at St. John Fisher Church from 11:30 a.m. until time of funeral liturgy with mass at Noon with Rev. John McCoy and Msgr. Gerald Calovini co-celebrating. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Vigil services 8:30 p.m. Sunday. Ohio Valley Veterans will conduct services at the cemetery.
