James Dale Dyson, 83, of Wintersville, OH died Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Trinity West. He was born March 8, 1924 in New Brighton, PA the son of the late Charles Dale and Freeda Anderson Dyson. He was a 1942 graduate of New Brighton High School and attended Geneva College and Triangle School of Drafting. He retired from Townsend Co., a division of Textron Industries, in the technical sales department. James was a member of Wintersville U.M. Church; Methodist Mens and a volunteer at Trinity West. He was a 50 year member of Parian Lodge 662 F&AM in Beaver Falls and was an Army veteran during WWII serving in India. James is survived by his wife Wanda M. Mills Dyson; son James D. (Jacqueline) Dyson, Jr. of Pittsburgh; daughter Pamela Rae (Nick) Vukelich of Weirton; four grandchildren Megan E. Dyson, Kevin D. Dyson, Jason Sharp & Ben Sharp; two great granddaughters Kelsey E. Dyson & Kaylin R. Brown; one step grandson Eric Huffman; and two sisters Margaret Liest and Geraldine Bussard. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial at Sylvania Hills, Rochester, PA. Unionport Masonic Lodge 333 will conduct a courtesy service 7 p.m. Friday.
