Jonathan and Elisa, When you went to live with Pap-Pap you made his house a home. It became alive with the laughter and voices of children. I'm sure that his last years were pleasant ones with all of you around him. You took such good care of him and for this you will rewarded in heaven. I am so sorry about his death...you are always in my prayers. I'm sure you know I will do anything to help you. I Love You, Mom

Dear Angel and Family...I was so saddened to hear about the loss of your father...you have been a wonderful daughter to both of your parents and were there always in their time of need. I know that the pain of your loss is great but take comfort in the fact that you were always there to help them and when they passed on to meet our Lord that you were there to help them go...love and miss you...Barb

I always enjoyed going to Jim's house and talking to him about military subjects and the many books he read. He was one of those typical guys that endured the depression and WWII demonstrating the qualities of self-reliance, toughness, common sense, and a softmness when it came to his family, along with a deep pride for his country. Jim was always straight and you never had to read between the lines. He had a unique relationship with Elisa who selflessly cared for him everyday. She will be blessed for allowing him to keep his dignity until the end. I know his daughters Toni and Angel and his son Bart will miss him along with his grand children and great grandchildren. Its always hard to lose the ones you love. However, you can always see a little bit of him and the positive traits he passed on when you look at his grandchildren.
