James A. “Jimmy” Dean, 66, of Wintersville died Monday, February 27, 2012 at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville. He was born in Steubenville on July 1, 1945 a son of the late William R. and Inez R. Weide Dean. James was a member of Starkdale Presbyterian Church and Boy Scout Troop 18. He attended the School of Bright Promise and Jefferson County Workshop. James also won medals at the Special Olympics. Preceded in death by brothers Norman and Stephen Dean; sister Voloris Dean. Survived by his sister Caroline Dean with whom he resided. Friends may call at Starkdale Presbyterian Church on Thursday from 10a.m. until time of services 11am with Rev. Dr. Philip Makari officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Memorial contributions may be made to: Starkdale Church, 4600 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, OH 43953.
