Obituary For Jack  W. Fouts, Sr

Jack W. Fouts, Sr. 76, of Steubenville died Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Steubenville on July 20, 1933 a son of the late Raymond and Mabel King Fouts.  Jack retired in 1991 from Weirton Steel with 32 years of service and had worked as a brakeman conductor in the Transportation Dept.  He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and belonged to Weirton Steel 25 Year Club and Toronto Senior Citizens.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Charles A. Fouts; sister Dorothy E. Fouts and granddaughter Brianna Fouts.  Jack is survived by his wife of over 52 years Deniese “Dee” Baker Fouts; son Jack W. (Michelle) Fouts, Jr. of Toronto, OH; daughter DeAnne Fouts Payton of Dayton, OH and son Randy (Beth) Fouts of Louisville, OH; brother Robert R. (Dorothy) Fouts of Toronto, OH; grandchildren Seth Fouts, Marquis Payton, Rachel, Rebecca and Calista Fouts, Nathaniel Payton and Carleen Fouts.  Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home (Formerly McClaves) 611 North 4th St., Steubenville, OH on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. where funeral services will be held on Saturday, 11a.m. with Fr. Thomas A. Vennitti officiating.  Burial at the convenience of the family.  Memorial contributions can be made to Valley Hospice, St. Francis Central School of  Toronto or Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adams Way, Randleman, NC 27317.

    Dee, Randy, DeAnne, and Jack, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jack. I pray that time will heal your loss. I have many good memories of Jack. When I was young I enjoyed talking to Jack about his memories of my dad. God Bless all of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
