Irene White, 89, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Steubenville, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at her residence of natural causes. She was born November 7, 1921 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late George and Agnes Jacques Robinson. Irene was a homemaker. She was a member of Finley United Methodist Church, Womens Christian Temperance Union and Weirton Senior Citizens. Preceding Irene in death were her husband Richard H. “Dick” White and two brothers William and Sidney Robinson. Surviving are her sons Richard H. (Tracy) White with whom she resided and provided her loving care while living in South Carolina and Dale (Denese) White of Steubenville, OH; two grandchildren Richard (Debbie) White III and Beth (Mark) Davis; great granddaughter Kiley Davis and special friend Dorothy Oliver. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Sunday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. where a service will be held Monday 10 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Ernst officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Memorial donations may be directed to Finley United Methodist Church.
