Irene S. Brown, 96, of Wintersville, died Sunday, April 2, 2017 at her residence of natural causes. She was born in Maynard, Ohio on February, 22, 1921 the daughter of the late Jacob and Frances Blaza Miller. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert Drumm; second husband, Edward C. Brown; seven sisters and two brothers. Irene was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Wintersville and a homemaker. She is survived by a daughter, Audrey I. (late husband, Donald) Schmidbauer of Chester, WV and two grand-daughters Pamela J. Schmidbauer and Donna M. Deppmeyer both of Pittsburgh, PA. and her caregivers Nancy Swickard, Lindy Longo, Angie Fox, Juanita Harding and Cheryl & Howard Rupert. Per Irene’s request, no visitation or services are planned. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be directed to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or Valley Hospice.
