Obituary For Inez E. Zajdowicz

Inez E. Zajdowicz, 81, of Wintersville, Ohio formerly of Powhatan, OH passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. She was born February 18, 1936 in Adena, OH a daughter of the late Floyd G. and Rose Marie DaGrava Merriman. Inez was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Starkdale Presbyterian Church. Inez was a former deacon, choir member and bible school teacher at Powhatan Presbyterian Church. Preceding Inez in death were her husband Siegfried Zajdowicz; three sisters June Mazur, Loretta Merriman and Maria Kinney and brother George Merriman. Surviving are her children Toni Zajdowicz of Wintersville, OH, Steve (Cindy) Zajdowicz of New Martinsville, WV, Mark Zajdowicz of Mingo Junction, OH and Lisa (Paul) Busby of Steubenville, OH; four grandchildren Steven Zajdowicz of New Martinsville, WV, Ashtin (fiancé Ryan Walton) Zajdowicz of New Martinsville, WV, Lindsay Busby and Paul Busby II of Steubenville, OH; great grandchild Camdyn Zajdowicz; brother Robert V. Merriman of Bloomingdale, OH; aunt Marie DeLibera of Baltimore, MD and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, on Sunday 1 – 3 & 5 – 7 p.m. and on Monday at Starkdale Presbyterian Church from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Rev. G. Carl Moore officiating. Burial at Holly Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to Starkdale Presbyterian Church, 4600 Sunset Boulevard, Wintersville, OH 43953.
