We were saddened to hear of the loss of Aunt Ida. Growing up we had a lot of fun at the farm and the reunions. RIP.

My aunt Ida Mae made the best strawberry jam. My cousins', my brother, and myself used to eat a whole loaf of bread, butter, and jam when we visited their "farm". Sincere condolences to the family.

Ida had a vibrant, loving personality, the kind that demonstrates Christ in action. She was all about family and centered her tasks in life there. I don't need to tell you that she was brilliant, curious, warm, open, and to me the closest one that came to being "mother" in my life. Ida and I chatted on the phone and visited a few times after I moved away from Eastern Ohio. She sent a card to me once that read, "You didn't have to, but you did, and I thank you. Love, Ida" She did so much that was not required of her that she recognized immediately when someone else stepped up. I will always love her and hold her in great esteem. Her life is an example for us all.

Aunt Ida Mae was the sweetest person. I think I only saw her at the store but she always greeted me with a big hug. Dick told me many stories of going to the farm when he was young. Sincere condolences.

Yuns already know my favorite childhood memories were spent @ the farm & picking strawberries & watching her make jam & pies & to this day I still make "her" pies. I'm Blessed to have such great memories at "the farm".
