Obituary For Ida Mae Frey

Ida Mae Frey, 93, of Steubenville, OH passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Bolger Country Club Manor. She was born in Moundsville, WV on January 16, 1924 a daughter of the late Cecil W. and Luna Edge Rogers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Elmer E. Frey, Sr.; her son Elmer E. “Gomer” Frey, Jr.; daughter-in-law Brenda Frey; son-in-law Ray Whaley. Ida is survived by her sons: Norman Frey of Wintersville, John (Joyce) Frey of Bloomingdale and James (Kathy) Frey of Wintersville; daughters Robin (Robert) Hoover of Steubenville and Nancy Whaley of North Ridgeville, OH; sister Clara Morris of Steubenville; grandchildren Debbie Pojman, Ryan Frey, Amy Frey, Amanda Ovelgonne, Julie Prekup, Christopher Hoover and Tiffany Frey; great grandchildren Jacob Buck, Breck Pojman, Keira Pojman, Mikayla Hoover, Caitlin Hoover, Camryn Fray, Avery Brown, Chase Ovelgonne and Jaxen Ovelgonne. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Saturday from 4-8p.m., where funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 11:30a.m. with Rev. Bill Westling officiating. Burial at New Alexandria Cemetery.
