Howard R. Swiger, 79 of Wintersville, Ohio died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Life Line Hospital. He was born April 19, 1933 in Martins Ferry, Ohio a son of the late Everett & Audrey Ashcraft Swiger. He had four siblings Dortha May, Harold, Donald & Charles. He was retired from Ohio Edison Power, Toronto Plant. Howard was a 1951 graduate of Toronto High School and served in US Army. He was preceded in death by his wife Clarinthe M. McCafferty Swiger. Surviving are his children Debra L. Timko of Toronto and son George (Cathy) Swiger of Sammamish, WA; four grandchildren Nicole & Jeremy Timko and Hailey & Travis Swiger and great granddaughter Laila Timko. No Visitation. Private graveside services at Oakdale Cemetery, Harrison County, WV. Memorials may be directed to Alsac-St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 2345 Murray Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15217
