Dear Bill and Jane: We are so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. He was really one fine gentleman, and I will always remember the fond memories of growing up in Starkdale, cutting through your yard to go play baseball or basketball at Chalfants, and seeing your Dad there always with a huge smile and kind words. You are so fortuante to have had him with you this long, and I remember when we had dinner together in Columbus several years ago you mentioned how well he was doing. We will all have fond memories of "Hank". Our deepest sympathies go out to you and your entire family, and he will be remembered in our prayers. Bob and Jan Cich

Please accept our sympathies. I personally enjoyed the conversations I had with both your Mom and Dad growing up in the Starkdale Road "community". You are fortunate to have had your Dad for 97 years ! I am confident all of "Hank's" grandchildren were proud to have enjoyed his company! I still remember the ride he gave back to Muskingum College one snowy winter day. Cal and Sally Peterson

Bill and Diane, So sorry to hear of your loss. Your Dad, along with your Mom, were such a big part of my life as I was growing up. I never thought of your Dad as being old. He always seemed to have a smile and his friendly manner was infectious to all. And now he's at rest after living a good long life. With fond thoughts of your Dad and Mom, Peace Buzz

Diane and Marco, Hank was an incredible man. We knew that almost 21 years ago when all met in Peru and he became Papa to many. We remember playing cards, laughter and having Hank pass Marco to you to handle "the big jobs". Please know that our hearts and prayers are with you and we remember your dad as a joyful caring and giving man.

Dear Bill, Jane, Molly and Emily, Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your father and grandfather. I feel so deeply blessed to have been given the opportunity to become friends with Hank these last five years. His postive outlook and enthusiasm for life was contagious. No matter where I visited him - the hospital, the nursing home, fellowship hall- he was always the same happy Hank. And, he ALWAYS made me laugh. Bob and I will miss him very much. You are in our thoughts and prayers, Bob and Cindy
