Henry C. “Skip” Hock, Jr. 73 of Steubenville died February 20, 2005 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born in Steubenville on July 27, 1931 a son of the late Henry Hock, Sr. and Margaret Fach Hock, who survives of Steubenville. Skip was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He retired from Weirton Steel as a mold operator after 42 years of service. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Skip is survived by his wife Jacqueline Anderson Hock, daughters Patty (Chuck) Poole and Cathy (Bill) Clancey, both of Wintersville, son Greg (Karen) Hock of Columbus, Ohio, two sisters Peggy Cotton of Wintersville and Mary Lou Miller of Weirton, WV, brother John Hock of Indiana, and grandchildren Shaun and Jaclyn Clancey, Scott and Brian Poole, Gregory and Ryan Hock. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, Ohio today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church with Rev. Leonard Cencula officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Vigil service today at 3:45 p.m.
