Obituary For Helen V. Williams

Helen V. Williams, 88, of Mingo Junction, Ohio died Saturday evening, January 20, 2007, at her residence. She was born January 12, 1919 in Bloomingdale, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harry and Mary Merryman Marker. She was a member of Bloomingdale U.M. Church. Preceding Helen in death were her husband Clifton B. Williams; son Kenneth Bake; daughter Patricia Hawthorne; granddaughters Dawn Milligan & Tracy Scott; grandson Larry Thompson; brothers Roy, Noel, Frank & Ralph Marker; and sister Freda Burkett. Helen is survived by two sons Ron E. (fiancee Carol Griffith) Bake of Follansbee and Larry R. (Penny) Thompson of Dillonvale; daughter Katherine G. “Katie” Milligan of Jewett; two sisters Lucille Daily of Wintersville & Jane Betz of Minerva; brother Richard Marker of Steubenville; many grandchildren and many great & great great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Jason Elliott officiating. Burial at Bloomingdale Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Valley Hospice, Inc. 380 Summit Ave., Steubenville, OH 43952.
