Helen N. Pocza 83 of Wintersville, Ohio died Thursday, January 15, 2004 at home. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on August 30, 1920 a daughter of the late Leifus and Nora Gore Rakestraw. She was a Methodist by faith. Helen was preceded in death by her husband James Pocza on November 30, 1991; one brother Harvey Rakestraw and three sisters Agnes Bedford, Doris V. Allen and Nora Rakestraw. Helen is survived by two sons Ron (Terri) Pocza of Morristown Ohio and Richard L. Pocza at home; two grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Friday 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday at Fort Steuben Burial Estates Chapel One with Pastor Jane Betts officiating.
