Helen M. Furbay, 87, of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Sienna Woods. She was born May 28, 1920 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late Harry and Mollie Alnoch Engel. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and worked for the Indian Creek School District. Helen was preceded in death by brothers Louis, Harry “Spike” and Albert Engel and two infant brothers. Surviving are her husband John D. Furbay; daughter Carol Folio of Scottsdale, AZ; son Larry (Jane) Lynch of Toronto, OH; three granddaughters Kristen and Karli Folio both of Scottsdale, AZ and Mary Jane Clark of Toronto, OH; great granddaughter Ashley Clark and brother John (Gertrude) Engel of Richmond, OH. Friends may call at Grace Lutheran Church, Steubenville Saturday 10 - 11 a.m. where a service will be held Saturday 11 a.m. Burial at Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to a charity of donor’s choice.
