David, I am so sorry to hear about your mom she was a wonderful woman. Growing up next door to your family was always was like having another set of grandparents. Even though I moved away many years ago I often think of her and your dad and feel so much love for them. I know that she will be missed. I will say a little prayer for her tonight.

Dear David and family, Please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of your Mother. Helen was a special friend to me and my entire family. My Mom and Aunt Helen talked and laughed with her and felt she was part of our family. She will always have a special place in my heart and we will always remember her in our prayers. Sincerely, Rich & Pat Saccoccia and family

Dear David, Lisa and family, I am very sad to hear about Helen passing. How I met your parents was through Mary Barnes. She had told me that Walter was looking for someone to work out front at Leicy's. I was working at the Hub Tea Room as a waitress and the downtown's business was declining rapidly with the opening of the Fort Steuben Mall. I had mentioned to Mary Barnes that I needed to start looking for a new job. Mary told me to go up Leicy's Pharmacy and ask for Walter. Your dad hired me on the spot. I was so excited to get the job. After 5 years, I ended up leaving Leicy's to start a family. I started cleaning homes after a few years of being out of the workforce. I began working for your mother. Helen always made me feel like I came to visit than going there to clean. 🙂 Helen would always have something good for lunch. I would be so full from eating because your parent's would say, you didn't eat anything! haha. Your mom loved her home. Your parent's would always be talking about David, Lisa and the grandchildren. They both could not wait for your next visit. She really loved you all very much. Walter and Helen were the best people to work for and to know. Your dad was so funny and your mom was so nice. It was a pleasure to know both of them. They were good people. Take care and God Bless. Teresa Waggoner Heiss 740-275-6772
