To former neighbors: I just saw Helen's obituary on line. It is so hard to watch all the dear ones who watched over us on Lincoln Heights leave this earth. We were so blessed to have parents who had such strong values and cared for us. My folks passed away July 2007 and May 2008. I know the loss you feel-- but nothing can take away the memories and the strong foundation on which we were raised. June Ruff Leasure

Dear Mike and family, We were so sorry when we heard about the loss of Helen. We cannot imagine her not being there with you and the the girls. Whenever we would visit with Marie and John we always knew we would get to see Helen and have the chance for a lovely visit. When we think back on all the years we have know you and the family it saddens us because it is as if she were our family too, if fact we do consider you family. Our prayers and condolences are with you at this difficult time. Much love to you all. Rita and Peppe Quattrone

Dear Sgt. Mike & Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I can't believe she is gone. We enjoyed our last visit with her at lunch at Aunt Marie's in August. I along with my brothers and sister will always remember Helen as that very "Sexy" lady. I know this time will be difficult for you all, death is not easy to understand, especially as sudden as it happened to Helen. You all know how much she will be missed by everyone she came in contact with. She was such a soft spoken lovely woman and we loved both her and you, such special friends to our mom and dad throughout our lives in Steubenville. God bless you Mike, Michele, Janice and Marianne and your families as you mourn your loss and the loss to anyone who knew her.

Dear Mike and family, My deepest sympathy in the loss of a very special woman. She always had a smile no matter what was going on in her life. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She will be greatly missed. Mom and her are already planning a card game I'm sure. Take care and God Bless all. Love Ruthie.
