Obituary For Helen J. Phillips

Helen J. Phillips, 99, passed away on January 27, 2022 in Manassas, VA. She was born in Steubenville on August 12, 1922 a daughter of the late Peter and Margaret Koski Kamel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Alvin S. Phillips; son John R. Davis; grandson Steven Davis and granddaughter Dr. Stacy Davis.

Helen was a loving mother.

Helen is survived by her son George N. Davis; daughter Margaret A. (Jim) Knodel; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Services 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Fort Steuben Burial Estates with Rev. Benjamin Wright officiating.

    She was so easy to love. She was terrific to me and I loved her wonderfully wicked sense of humor. Im truly sorry as I know I disappointed her at the end of our relationship. She is with the Angels now and I will keep her soul in my prayers. My sympathy goes out to all the family especially George.
