Helen J. Harris, 84, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at her home. She was born September 21, 1932 in Spearfish, SD a daughter of the late John & Lila Anderson Henwood. Preceding Helen in death were a brother and an infant brother. Surviving are her daughter Brenda Mencer; son Curt Harris; her only grandchild Jason (Angela) Mencer; two very special great grandsons; three sisters of South Dakota; several nieces and nephews and three very special neighbors Weezie, Ginny and Sandy. Per Helen’s wishes there will be no visitation or services. Her family would like to thank Charity Hospice for providing Helen with professional and loving care. Memorial contributions may be directed to Charity Hospice, PO Box 2483, Wintersville, OH 43953. Helen was an amazing lady who will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
