Helen I. Bone, 88, of Steubenville, OH went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Valley Hospice North. She was born on March 1, 1927 in Richmond, OH the daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha Call Kearney. Helen retired from the State of Ohio Auditors Office, where she worked as a state examiner in the Municipal Division. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leon C. “Lee” Bone; daughter Bonnie Ladd; brothers Robert and Ralph Kearney. Helen is survived by her granddaughter Heather Logan; nieces Yvonne Smith and Roberta Grisby; nephew Larry Purkey; step-son David Johnson; step-daughter Barbara Dray; great grandchildren Hunter and Kennedy Logan and several great nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the conveniece of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice or the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
