Helen G. Shipley, 89, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born August 1, 1928 in Steubenville a daughter of the late Thomas & Pearl Chisler Arthur. She was a member of First Westminster Church. Preceding Helen in death were her husband John M. Shipley; daughter Charlene Beadling; brother Thomas E. Arthur; sisters Jeannette Dray, Pearl White, Christine Dubetz, Irene Arthur & Barbara Gallabrese.
Helen is survived by her daughter Cynthia McKay of Steubenville; son John (Denise) Shipley of Fallon, NV; grandchildren Jamie & Troy Beadling, Ryan & Travis McKay and Sabrina Hutchcraft; and great grandchildren Liana, Eli & Olivia Beadling, and Tierney & Khara Hutchcraft.
Per Helen’s request private services and burial will be held at Union Cemetery with Rev. Jason Elliott officiating.
