Helen Faccinto, 93, of Westerville, Ohio formerly of Steubenville passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 at Country View Nursing Home, Sunbury, Ohio. She was born August 29, 1919 in Wolf Run, Ohio the daughter of the late Yaroslav and Anna Repella Halkovich. Helen was a member of Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church, Steubenville. She was the cofounder and proud owner of the former Fashion Cleaners in Steubenville. She spent a lifetime of dedication to her family and church. In addition to her parents Helen was preceded in death by her husband James Faccinto; son-in-law George Merrick and her sister Mary Milley. She is survived by her son Nick (Billie Kay) Faccinto of Naples, FL; her daughter Annette Merrick of Galena, OH; sister Olga Pasquarella of Steubenville; grandchildren David Faccinto of Sunbury, OH, Maria (Ryan) Harrington of Denver, CO, Jennifer (Rich) Cesta of Wintersville, OH, Michael Merrick of Westerville, OH, Nicole Faccinto of New Albany, OH and Alexandra Faccinto of New York, NY; great grandchildren Reese, Luke, Nicholas, Emma, Anna and Crystal. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Monday 4 – 8 p.m. and on Tuesday at Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral liturgy at 10 a.m. with Fr. Gregory Thompson officiating. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Parastas service Monday 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church, 206 10th Street, Steubenville, OH 43952 or St. Stefan of Decani Serbian Orthodox Church, 1840 N.
