Helen E. “Gram” Paris 88 of Piedmont, Ohio, formerly of Mingo Junction Ohio died Thursday at Harrison Community Hospital in Cadiz, Ohio. She was born in Mingo Junction on July 29, 1914 a daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa Panetta. Helen was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Flushing, Ohio and was preceded in death by her husband Meade Paris in 1975; one daughter Anna Stoddart; one grandson Richard Paris; three brothers Mike, Ralph and Americo Panetta; and two sisters Tallie Lamantia and Millie Calvarese. Surviving are her son Meade (Sandra) Paris of Piedmont; two brothers Ray and Barry Panetta both of Mingo Junction; several grandchildren including Beth Ann (Joseph) Cutri and Karen (Douglas) Terpenning whom she raised; and several great and great great grandchildren. Friends may call at Hoff-Shorac Funeral Home, 235 Clifton Ave. Mingo Junction on Sunday at 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 11a.m. Monday with Msgr. John A. Cymbor officiating. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
