Sonya, my thoughts are with you. Your Mom was always nice to talk to when I used to see her out and about.

My mom (Barbara Bills) was the PE teacher at Big Red when Helen was in school. My mom always said Helen should have been a PE teacher instead of Math because she was so athletic. My two children had Helen in school at Bantam Ridge Elementary then each of them were in the 5th grade. They loved her! I knew Helen from working with her at Indian Creek. I was an aide and secretary. She was a great lady! She will be missed deeply.

Helen and I shared a beautiful friendship while at Harding and Big Red and years beyond. Only learned about her passing yesterday and want to extend my heartfelt condolences to your entire family. I intend to make a contribution in Helen's name to one of my favorite animal rescue organizations out here in the Los Angeles area not far from my home.
