Hazel V. Noble Daugherty 88 of Steubenville, Ohio died Sunday, February 15, 2004 at Dixon Health Care. She was born on April 8, 1915 a daughter of the late John and Katharine Haught Frey. Hazel was preceded in death by her husband Carl Noble on February 8, 1945; one son Carl E. Noble; three brothers Elmer, Charles and William “Bus” Frey; five sisters Sylvia Search, Juanita Starcher, Margaret Frey, Thelma Vandeborne and Florence Vandeborne and three infant great grandchildren. Surviving are sons Harry Noble of Steubenville and Jack (Helen) Noble of Wintersville; daughters Shirley Rodell of Columbus, Ohio and June (James) McGinnis of Wintersville; brother Donald (Carol) Frey of Bloomingdale; sister Donna Benvenutti of Wintersville; 22 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Charles Shoe officiating. Burial at New Alexandria Cemetery.
