Harold W. Diederich, 89, of Wintersville, Ohio died Thursday, May 18, 2006 at his residence. He was born in Steubenville on September 29, 1916 a son of the late William and Nellie L. Miller Diederich. Harold was a member of First Christian Church and retired after 35 years as a conductor for Conrail. He was a former member of Tri-State Harmonizers. Preceding Harold in death was his brother James. Surviving are his wife Dorothy R. Ennis Diederich; son William H. (Hazel) Diederich of Kenly, NC; daughter Bonnell Bond of Weirton; four grandchildren Diane (Steve) Petrella of Mingo Junction, Kristin Bond and Erin (Mike) Paris both of Weirton, Kelly Baim of Ridgeland, SC; six great grandchildren; and one sister Barbara Walton of Carrollton, OH. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Sunday from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m., where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday with Rev. Doug Shoaff officiating. Entombment at Fort Steuben. Memorials may be directed to First Christian Church.
