Obituary For Harold L. Saver

Harold L. Saver, 90, of Mount Pleasant, SC, formerly of Wintersville, OH, passed away on February 27, 2018 at The Palms, Savannah Grace Skilled Care. He was born in Piney Fork, OH, on June 2, 1927, the son of the late John and Rose Strah Saver. Harold graduated from The Ohio State University (he was an avid fan!) and was retired from Weirton Steel, where he worked as a metallurgist in quality control. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor M. Saver in 2000. Harold is survived by his son Richard (Kathleen “Kate”) Saver of Daniel Island, SC; daughter Cynthia Saver of Columbia, MD; grandchildren Christopher (Jeanny) Saver of Farmingdale, New York; Cynthia Susan (“Cindy Sue”) Saver of Daniel Island, SC; Thomas (Sarah) Saver of Murrells Inlet, SC; great-grandchildren Christopher, Richard, and Thomas. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on April 7, 2018 at 1p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or The Ohio State University.
