Obituary For Harold F. Gump

Harold F. Gump 79 of Wintersville, Ohio died Sunday, January 2, 2005 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born in Wintersville on February 12, 1925 a son of the late David and Agnes Watt Gump. Preceded in death by two brothers Cliff and Wayne “Buck” Gump. Harold retired as an electrical foreman from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co. and was a member of LaBelle View Church of Christ in Steubenville. He served in the Army during WWII and was a member of American Legion Argonne Post #33. Harold is survived by his wife Ann C. Thomaselli Gump whom he married on February 5, 1949; two sons Gregory (Cheryl) Gump of Richmond, Ohio and H. Joseph (Diane) Gump of Atlanta, Georgia; two daughters Bonnie (Michael) Dellatorre of Lake Forest, California and Lori (Scott) Hill of Stow, Ohio; six grandchildren; one brother Robert (Isabelle) Gump of Richmond and a sister Joanne (Bill) Milligan of Green Valley, Arizona. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday with Minister Tom Arehart officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates. Military services will be conducted at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to American Lung, Cancer or Heart Associations.
