Obituary For Harold D. "Dick" Clevenger

Harold D. “Dick” Clevenger, 80, of Steubenville, OH died Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Trinity West.  He was born February 7, 1933 in Salem, WV.  Dick was a self-employed concrete contractor for Clevenger Contracting.  He was a member of Wintersville American Legion Post #557 and VFW Post # 9151 in Salem, WV.  He was preceded in death by his father Oren B. Clevenger; mother Waveline V. Davis; step mother Virginia Clevenger and four brothers Oren, Robert, John and Ronald Clevenger.  Surviving are his wife Terri J. Davis Clevenger; son Michael Clevenger of Wellsville, OH; granddaughter Bobbi Jo Clevenger of Smithfield, OH; grandson Michael Clevenger of Wellsville, OH; three great grandchildren Brian Clevenger with whom he resided, Nyla Clevenger  of Wellsville, OH and Dakota Blanton of Toronto, OH; two sisters Janet Sue Burch and Lucreta Coffman both of Salem, WV; four brothers Michael W. (Jeanie) Clevenger of Steubenville, OH, Gregory Clevenger of Salem, WV, Randall (Darce) Clevenger of Steubenville, OH and Tracy Clevenger of Salem, WV; two step sisters Laura Wilson and Pricilla Pierce both of Clarksburg, WV and step brother George (Sharon) Carpenter of VA.  Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville Tuesday 5 – 8 p.m. where a service will be held Wednesday 10 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Proya officiating.  Burial at Fort Steuben.
