Obituary For Gwynne H. Griesinger

Gwynne H. Griesinger, 79, of Steubenville, Ohio died Sunday, September 24, 2017 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. She was born May 3, 1938 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late Judge John Jacob and Hilda Owens Griesinger. Surviving are her brother John Griesinger of Steubenville, OH; sister Mary (Ronald) Long of Jamestown, RI and two nephews Owen and Trevor Long. A private service was held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Shorac Funeral Home, Steubenville.

    I was shocked to see Gwynne had passed. I met her a few years ago at the hospital and then about a month ago. We had a nice chat about your Mother . I was the manager of the book store at the mall and Hilda was my favorite customer. She was a fascinating women and she had such interesting adventures and stories about her life. I told Gwynne I felt like I knew all of you personally after hearing about you from the years I knew Hilda. How nice you have all those memories to fill the void that is in your life now .
