  I will always remember Mike for being one of the great personalities to ever walk into a room. He was smart, fun, and whenever we would run into each other over the years, It would be like no time had passed since high school. The class of 1972 was a special class and Mike was and will always be what it meant to be a Golden Warrior! He will always hold a place in my heart and in the heart of my classmates. My condolences to Mike's family and friends. He will be missed.

  I was a CPA in Wheeling and my firm worked with Mike at Starvaggi's for decades. Mike was such a pleasure to work with and I feel over all those years I can call him friend. We had our serious discussions and a lot of laughs. He was a man of honor , faith and loyalty. I'll miss him even though we haven't spoken for a couple years. May Mike rest in peace and I am sure he's with the angles in heaven. Love ya Mike your friend forever and more Thadd

  Mike, over the years I have enjoyed keeping in touch via emails. You are one of the most respected students at WHS and I appreciated your thoughts about the future. Whenever watching "Good Will Hunting" and the part here Matt Damon would smoke the arrogant student for his knowledge but lack of thinking for himself, and his buddy says, "My boy is Wicked SMART." That sums up Mike... wicked smart. Thanks for lighting that candle for me more than once in the darkness. I will be looking for you on the other side of the tunnel, Mike. Bill Kidder

  I am so sorry to hear that Mike passed away. In high school, we were the best of friends. Can remember driving around in his blue Mustang, playing golf at the Steubenville Country Club and just goofing around in high school. Mike and the great admiration he had for his father, helped motivate me to become a lawyer. Thanks Mike. I will never forget you.Pat Smith
