Grover L. Anderson 87 of Wintersville, OH died Friday, July 18, 2003 at Trinity Medical Center, West, Steubenville. He was born in Cleveland, WV on August 5, 1915 the son of the late Grover C. and Laura E. Barry Anderson. Preceded in death by three brother’s, Orlando, Ervin and Oney Anderson and one sister, Ruth Henry. Grover retired from the Zimnox Coal Co. of Brilliant as a drag line operator. Member of Wintersville United Methodist Church and former member of Wintersville American Legion Post #557. He served during World War II in the U.S.Army. He is survived by his wife Berdene M. Jackson Anderson at home, one son, William Lynn Anderson and his wife Dora, of Millersburg, OH. Two daughter’s, Mary Kathleen Wilson of Circleville, OH and Sylvia Daniels and her husband Curtis, of West Jefferson, OH. One brother, Harley Anderson of Seymour, IN. 10 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Rev. Clint Quillen to officiate. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, where the Ohio Valley Veteran’s Memorial Squad will conduct military services at the gravesite.
