Greg and I met when he came to work at WILE radio in Cambridge.  When he changed jobs, we kept in touch.  We shared many moments of grief when he lost his son and I lost mine.  Then, we lost our mates.  Greg was a one of a kind person and we loved visiting by phone.  Blessings and sweet memories to his family and other friends.  I remember him with love and would appreciate a phone call from one of his family or a friend.  740.826.4850

Greg was always upbeat and energetic even in sickness. He had a great faith in Christ and knew the road home. I will miss the razing back and forth between his beloved Wolverines and the Buckeyes. He will be greatly missed.

Greg was a friend and mentor from my time at WHIZ. Greg has my father as a history professor and would ask about my father often. True gentleman, true friends. Pure soul. Greg will be missed!

In December 2019, Greg attended my wedding and did the blessing before dinner and my mom (Rebecca Hina) made sure she requested a Boy George song for Greg. We all danced to Karma Chameleon. I'' never ever forget that! Of the huge Boy George painting that he had and tried to sell in a garage sale for years and no one wanted it! Haha!

Greg was an amazing man. Anyone who could go through all he had gone through and still have faith in God is a truly courageous man.He was an inspiration and selfless.I still take issue that he loved Boy George and Culture Club but we can't all be perfect!

I was just checking the Times Recorder obits and was stunned to learn of Greg's passing.  Greg was responsible for my getting my first radio job at WILE, Cambridge.  We later crossed paths when we both worked at WHIZ in Zanesville.  I always enjoyed Greg and consider him a friend to this day.  May Greg's family and friends find peace in the midst of this time.  God's grace to all!

Gregory it wasn't suppose to be like this I was flying up next week and we were going to celebrate your birthday together but God had other plans.  Oh Greg I will miss talking to you as I did everyday whether I was walking to my car from work, starting and ending my day with a call or text to you . Even though we separated in marriage no one knows how deep our love for each other was. You were my Pee Wee, My Willy and My Gregory.  You loved me as I have never been loved or will again.  I will miss you so much and the love I have for you I will never feel again.  You have left such an impression on so many lives. People you knew and those you didn't and especially the children you would always make smile when you handed them some money.  You were so giving and so kind to so many people. I know you are home now Gregory and I can only imagine how joyous it was for you to see Bobby, Sue, Jessie and your mom and dad.  Aw Greg my heart is forever with you and every time we talked at the end I would always say I love you Gregory and so in ending I love you Gregory forever and hope to see you soon. Please tell my mom and dad and Rita I love them. God has gained another angel who I know will be looking down and watching over me until we meet again.

I am both shocked and saddened by Greg's passing. I've known him for many years as we took our families to the beach for several summers in the 90's. I hope he is reunited with Sue and Bob. Every time I talked with him, including just a few weeks ago, he always talked about his faith. I will miss his laugh, energy, and optimism. RIP Greg.......Jim Mahoney

I remember the first time I met Greg. It was like we had been friends forever. He was so full of life and I was lifted up with his enthusiasm. His belief in Jesus Christ, his savior, and life everlasting helped him get through many hardships in his life. He was always upbeat and believed very strongly that God was in control. Greg told me a couple weeks ago that he was thankful for the life he had and whenever God wanted him to come "home" he was ready. I know he is in heaven now, at peace and enjoying everlasting life. I thank God for sharing Greg in my life.

I remember when me and my son just arrive here in the U.S to be with my wife 2 years ago. We didn't know anyone in the area as my wife work as a nurse in one of the hospital. The first thing i did was to check the apartment complex where we live. That was the time i met Greg, Jim and Wilma. They are the people who welcome me and became close friend. My son D grew up with them looking in our window asking if Greg, Jim and wilma are in the gazebo for us to go outside. Greg always told me to take care of my son, he play around with D in the gazebo. Greg was a great man, God blessed me to know him and be part of my son life and our life. I know he was in the good place now in Our Creator Hands. Our heartfelt sympathy to Nancy and Family - Mark, Jam and D Sorono
