Obituary For Grayce I. Williams

Grayce I. Williams, 80, of Steubenville, Ohio died Monday, May 7, 2007 at Harrison Community Hospital ER. She was born January 2, 1927 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late James L. and Marie M. Wells Grubbs. Grayce was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Woman’s Club of Steubenville and Ladies Oriental Shrine. She retired from Ohio Bell as a telephone operator. Preceding Grayce in death were her brother James F. Grubbs and sister Wilda J. Vittek. Surviving are her husband of 60 years Harry F. Williams whom she married on October 23, 1946; two sons Randolph F. (Carolyn) Williams of West Lafayette, IN and Timothy C. (Patricia) Williams of Ann Arbor, MI; two daughters Kyle (George) Herron of Madison, OH and Leslie A. (Jeff) Davis of Richmond, OH; ten grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held Thursday 10 a.m. with Rev. Tom Bullard officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Memorial donations may be directed to a charity of donor’s choice.
