Gordon H. Smith 66 of Toronto, Ohio died suddenly on Saturday, January 17, 2004 of natural causes. He was born in Smithburg, Maryland on May 1, 1937 a son of the late Clarence A. and Elsie Toms Smith. Gordon was a retired operating room tech at the former Ohio Valley and St. John Hospitals. He served in the Navy. Gordon was preceded in death by four brothers Paul, Robert, Thurman and Morris Smith and two sisters Mabel Fishack and Bertha Hottel. Surviving are two sisters Janet (Stewart) Fraser and Vada (Joseph) Miller both of Waynesboro, PA and one brother Floyd E. Smith of Rouzersville, PA. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Sunday, January 25, 2004 at 2 o’clock at Bell Chapel U.M. Church with Rev. Jeff Proya officiating.
