Gloria Milhoan, age 84, passed away on March 19, 2025. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for 20 years and was formerly a resident of Wintersville, Ohio where she was a realtor and co-owner of Camelot Realty.
Gloria was born on April 23, 1940, to James Bonham and Dorothea (Gruber) Bonham in Steubenville, Ohio. In 1956, she was married to Leonard (Cy) Milhoan in Steubenville, Ohio.
Gloria, who had several family nicknames, Jeannie, Fuzz, Glo and Aunt Bunny (depending on who she was with), enjoyed her real estate career, rehabbing and selling homes with Cy, spending time with family house-boating on the lake and attending football games with friends. She loved football and always supported her favorite teams, the Wintersville Warriors, The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren and seeing them grow up. After her move to Colorado, she made numerous friends and was an active member of the local Sertoma (Service to Mankind) group and helped to organize several fund-raising events including their annual wine tasting. She also enjoyed traveling with her friend of many years, Joe Gray.
She is survived by her children: Lee Milhoan and Kerri Hammond (Joe); her brother: James Bonham (Claudia); her grandchildren: Ryan Milhoan, Jamie Gingins (Gabriel), Jackson Hammond, Jordan Hammond (Lexi) and her brother-in-law, Joe Alexander and his family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Cy, her parents Jim and Dottie, sister Barbara Ann, Cy’s parents Dale and Marie, and his sisters Sheila and Janet.
A memorial service will be held in Colorado Springs on May 16th at 10 am at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 East Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910 with a reception to follow. Because she had many family and friends in Ohio a second memorial service will be held on May 31st at 10am at the Shorac Family Center, 166 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio 43953 with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in her memory to your favorite cause. If you would like, please wear Gloria’s favorite color at her service, teal/ turquoise.
