Gisela McGrew 75 of Steubenville, Ohio died Friday, March 12, 2004 at Trinity West. She was born in Germany on September 1, 1928 a daughter of the late Christian and Elise Bohler. She attended both First Baptist and First Westminster Churches in Steubenville. Gisela was involved with Boy Scout Troops 8 and 18 and was employed as a teachers aide at the School of Bright Promise for twenty-two years. Preceding her in death were her first husband Kewis W. Owen, Jr.; second husband William McGrew; and one sister Erm Dean. She is survived by one daughter Elise (Norman) Bogard of Wintersville; three sons Lewis (Evelyn) Owen of Follansbee, WV; David (Tina) Owen of Steubenville and Timothy (Connie) Owen of Mingo Junction; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Sunday 7-9 and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at noon on Tuesday with Rev. David Sperry officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Memorial contributions may be made to School of Bright Promise.
