I was hired on at Kuester Imp. back in late 79' . Gil was a Great guy and easy to talk with, he wasn't harsh with this Green Horn, he and Bucky Bucanan would explain things to me in detail so that I would learn. It was a Great experience and an awesome memory of my employment there. RIP Gil !

I bought my first chainsaw and weed trimmer from Gil. My dad bought the same saw not long after that from him. I got the wrong wrench for my saw, and I went back a couple days later, and Gil was just getting there, we said good morning, and I followed right behind him into the building. He turned around and asked me what I needed, and I said I got the wrong size wrench. He reached into the shelf, which was on the left going into the building in Wintersville. He gave me the correct one and I handed him the one I had. I said are we good and he said yep. Always friendly and informative. God Bless him. RIP

I have fond memories of Gil taking me to baseball practice for the Richmond Reds on many occasions when my Dad would go straight from work. He would stop at the bottom of the hill of my street and I would jump in the bed of the Kuester Implement truck. Gil was always willing to help out with the team however he was needed to. I have great memories of those times. Your family has my condolences, I know you will all miss him. He was one of the good ones.

"When the light of one friendship after another makes its way from earth to heaven, we kindle in place thereof the glow of some deathless reality". Mary Baker Eddy We had great days at JU, and Gil's mother was there, too. Then came along Kuesters and John Deere. Gil and Barb supported me by investing in UniBank, too. I always enjoyed time with Gil. Sincere sympathy to the entire family, Lee Kinney
