Geraldine “Gerry” Johnston 91 of Wintersville, Ohio died Saturday, November 20, 2004 at Gables Care Center. She was born in Zalia, WV on December 20, 1912 a daughter of the late Edward and Linnie Plunkett Wright. She attended First Christian Church in Steubenville and was a member of Womens Auxiliary 586 of Steubenville Moose Lodge 619. Gerry was a clerk at the former 3D Market on the corner of 3rd and Dock Streets. Preceding her in death were her husband William Edward Johnston; daughter-in-law Dorothy L. Johnston; great grandson Joseph Allen Martin II; one brother and two sisters. Gerry is survived by one son Edward (Marsha) Johnston of Wintersville; two daughters Duane (Gerald) Farrington of Circleville, Ohio and Mary Mucci of Carrollton, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial at Fort Steuben. Moose Chapter 586 services 8 p.m. Monday evening.
