Obituary For George M. Maine

George M. Maine, 83, of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Valley Hospice. He was born on August 12, 1936 in Bloomingdale a son of the late Howard Maine & Daisy Ralston Maine. He was retired from Wayne Township and S&S Farm in Bloomingdale and a USMC veteran of the Korean War. George was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church; Tri-State Marines and Hopedale American Legion. Preceding George in death were his wife Nancy L. Hervey Maine on August 25, 2019 and an infant son

George is survived by two daughters Sheila (Clinton) Torrence of Anderson, CA & Sharon (George) Kramarich of Bloomingdale; five grandchildren Stephaine (Thomas) Coyle, Clayton Torrence, Dylan (fiancée Erica Costine), Ryan & Zachary Kramarich; two great grandchildren Tripp & Scotty; brother Vernon “Mike” Maine and half sister Lynn Bullard.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Tuesday 4-7 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Revs. John Oliver & Art Wells officiating. Burial at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.

The family wishes to acknowledge the compassionate care that the physicians, nurses and aides gave to George on Level 7 at Weirton Medical Center.

Memorials may be directed to Valley Hospice, Inc. OR Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.
