George F. Doban 71 of Steubenville, OH died Thursday, July 1, 2004 at his home. He was born in Clairton, PA on October 3, 1932. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. George was a self-employed CPA and active in various golf, skiing, scuba and dance groups. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of Korea. Preceded in death by his father John Doban; brother John Doban and sister Mary Ann Kasmerski. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Gloria Zettle Doban, son Michael (Michele) Doban, daughters Denise (Darryl) Tabacchi and Diane (Michael) Dumais, mother Mary Doban, sisters Dolores Skrinjorich, Bernadette Doban and Carol Caruthers, grandchildren Micah, Miles and Mallory Doban, Noah, Krista and Sarah Tabacchi, Christopher, Matthew and Ryan Dumais. No visitation. Funeral liturgy with Mass 9:30 a.m. Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Wintersville, Ohio with Msgr. Gerald Calovini officiating.
