George Chuich 69 of Toronto, Ohio died Saturday, October 9, 2004 at Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on December 29, 1934 a son of the late Miladin and Milica Milosevich Chuich. George was a retired millwright at Timet Corp. in Toronto. He was Serbian Orthodox by faith and a member of Unionport Masonic Lodge 333 F&AM. Preceding George in death were four brothers Rade, Melvin, Nick and Mele Chuich and three sisters Kathryn Davis, Laura Chuich and Mary Ann Rusinovich. George is survived by his wife Katherine “Karen“ Vasich Chuich; one brother Robert Chuich of Wintersville, Ohio; three sisters Jean Saho and Stella (James) Shaw both of Wintersville and Mildred Potkrajac of Steubenville; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends Dan (Robin) Flohr of Bloomingdale, David Sabol and Jim (Chrissy) Joynson both of Toronto; and Robert Mattern of Wintersville. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Tuesday 4-8 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday with Very Rev. Rade Merick officiating.
